The terms we work under

What we provide, how fees work, what we need from you, and where the limits sit. Written to be read, not to be skipped.

These terms

These terms apply to the use of this website and to estimating services provided by Eagle Eye Estimations (ABN 60 979 150 516). Where we have a separate written agreement or a confirmed scope and fee for a specific job, that agreement applies to that job.

What we provide

We prepare quantity takeoffs, estimates and related documents based on the drawings, specifications and scope of works you provide. The deliverable is normally a set of marked-up drawings and an editable spreadsheet of measured quantities.

An estimate is a measurement and pricing document. It is not a certification, a structural or engineering design, a building surveyor's approval, or financial or legal advice.

Fees and payment

Your first estimate is free. For subsequent work, the fee is confirmed to you in writing as a fixed amount before any work starts. There is no retainer, no subscription and no lock-in contract, and you are not committed to anything until you accept a confirmed fee.

Where the drawings or scope change after work has begun, any additional fee is agreed with you before the additional work is done. Correcting an error in our own work is not charged.

Accuracy and your responsibilities

Our work is only as complete as the information we are given. Quantities are measured from the documents you supply, and where those documents are unclear, incomplete or inconsistent we state the assumption we have used so you can check it.

You are responsible for reviewing the takeoff before you rely on it, for confirming site conditions that cannot be seen on a drawing, and for the rates and margins applied in your own quote. Where we have flagged an item as unclear, excluded or requiring confirmation, that flag forms part of the deliverable.

Turnaround times

We aim to return most residential estimates within 24 hours of receiving complete documentation. Larger commercial and tender packages take longer, and we confirm the expected timing before starting rather than after.

Ownership and use of deliverables

You may use the takeoff and spreadsheet we deliver for your own business purposes, including pricing and submitting tenders, and you may keep and reuse the file. We retain the documents and working files needed for our own records.

You keep ownership of the drawings and project information you send us.

Free tools on this site

The concrete calculator and the estimating ROI calculator are provided free as guides. They produce indicative figures from the inputs you enter and are not a substitute for a measured takeoff or professional advice. Check the results before relying on them for a quote.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim connected with our services is limited to re-supplying the service or refunding the fee paid for the work in question.

We are not liable for losses arising from documents that were incomplete or inaccurate when supplied to us, from changes made to our deliverable by others, or from rates and margins applied by you in your own pricing.

Insurance

Eagle Eye Estimations carries $1M professional indemnity insurance. A certificate of currency is available on request.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. This version was last updated on 3 September 2026.
